Blaming the refs is a convenient crutch to use in case you lose.

I think some on this board come across as stupid when in fact they just lose objectivity.

There were several close calls that went Dukes way but MSU did a lot of fouling. Duke drives the ball like we do. Monday will be interesting.

I agree that FT disparities don't tell the whole story, or even most of the story.

That said, when MSU went on a 7-0 run to close to 13 with about 12 minutes left, Pat Adams called two of the worst fouls I've seen this tournament on Branden Dawson.

MSU took bad shots and had some horrible turnovers. That's what got them beat. As said before the more aggressive offensive team will usually get more FT attempts plain and simple.
