I think that’s what we’ve done to ourselves at this point.

We are on the outside looking in. If we sneak back in then putting us in the Dayton game is a great narrative.

Even if we go on a run, they can easily justify an 8/9 based on resume. Another great narrative, setting up a potential made for tv round 2.

If Kentucky does just enough to be comparable to other bubble teams and UNC is on the bubble as well, they will be in the most watched play in game of all time. If UNC or DUKE are clearly in then I say with a comparable resume they say laugh at Cal in the NIT again.

4-2 the rest of the way gets us in. That would be 3 more quad 1 wins. Also tamu game could end up being quad 1 and outside chance the vandy win on the road is. It’s not as dire as with the SECT but it’s dire. I’m not counting on getting in but there are other ways than winning sect
