When is the last time this has happened? @Sean Callahan

They said on the radio when we played NIU that we haven’t had a night game in 2 years. We where supposed to have one last year but lightening ruined that. This is awesome. We are 20 of last 22 night games played at home (or something close to that).

Yeah I want to say it is something like that as well. Anyone have any stats on home night game when college gameday was in town.

Always been a fan of night games. Don't get me wrong, late morning games are good and all, but I've always felt that night games are more exciting. It's when the "big boys" play, for lack of a better term.

How about are 5* running back 17 carries for 33 yards. Oh what could have been if he lived up to the hype.
It’s hard to be a great running back while also being targeted on check downs 20 times a game. Keller would have lost 30% of his completion percentage without check downs.

Sean C said on Big Red Wrap Up that everyone knows the facilities announcement is coming. It just makes sense to drop it OSU week. Right now 11 officials scheduled. Biggest recruiting weekend all year. GBR

That’s great and all but last time we played osu at home at night they started the game with 8 straight td drives. I would love nothing more than a win but the time of the game doesn’t mean much. Great for recruiting though.

Disagree there...100%. It makes a huge difference and that’s why we are 47-7 at home playing at night (20-22 as of late). Sure, OSU beat a very bad Husker team that was horribly coached. But that’s one game during a horrible coaching stint. This night game will give us our absolute best chances of beating OSU. We may still lose and definitely doesn’t guarantee a win but we play that much better compared to a 11:00 am game and it will give us our best chance. Hell its the same for Bama and other teams. It’s why ever Head Coach wants night games. Louder fans and players seem to always play better at night.
