I’m still flabbergasted by tennessee. I’m not super surprised kentucky underperformed. surprised we lost to a 15 seed but not surprised we lost.

Were they really? Look at them outside of Knoxville. They put everything into beating a beaten up/mediocre playing UK down the stretch. The SEC is doing their conference a huge disservice to make these home teams games so lopsided in terms of results. There's no way 4 teams atop a conference play 68 games to the level that has a 67-1 record for them. That's a joke.

Rick Barnes is a **** NCAA Tournament coach and so many salivate when they see they get to face him. My issue was/is/will be how Cal talks him up due to their friendship and it's allowed him to be punked by Barnes/Vols on the court. Even the '20 season where Cal and UK media and select fans romantically think that team was cutting down the nets--blew a huge lead to a dickwad UT team and on SR night in Lexington which led to a player getting suspended and some chaos entering the would be postseason.

At some point you have to win big games outside of Knoxville consistently and against other teams not named Kentucky whose HC thinks of Barnes as if he's John Wooden and Coach K combined.

i agree barnes is awful in the tournament. but tenneseee dominated the sec tourney. even our game wasn’t as close as the final score. they led almost the entire game.

I just figure if he couldn’t make any noise with this team he’s done.

and yeah, the home road swing in the sec is a joke and i do think it’s by design. too many terrible calls going in the home teams favor. i think sec brass want it that way for ratings.
