Should go down as one of the most beloved grad transfers in college basketball history.

Yeboah and Gettys were both quickly adopted by our fanbase - hard workers, tough competitors, great personalities, left it all on the court. They each only spent a season on campus, but both ingrained themselves deeply in the culture of the team and hearts of the fanbase. Wish them both the utmost success.

If you didn't know any better, you would think both Yeboah and Gettys spent their entire career at Rutgers. Those are the type of guys I love to be associated with when your back is against the wall.

Who's going to replace his 3-point shooting?

We have to hope that Caleb McConnell steps up as a junior and smooths out his inconsistency. He is one of the best shooters on the team, but he hit the wall in February this year. Hopefully another year of S&C and just maturing will help him step into the Kwasi role as the starting WF for the entire year. I would love to see 9.5 ppg/5 rpg from him.

That said, I think that we will also see an uptick in scoring from Baker, Harper, Mathis & Young (sounds like a good law firm name, LOL) to offset Kwasi's departure; as well as some contributions from Palmquist and Mag on the wing.

What Degaz says, a mixture of Caleb and the guards/wings incrementally improving their games. Oskar is a possibility also.

And then again, maybe we don’t replace Akwasi’s 3 point shooting and we improve in other aspects of our game. It’s possible with Myles and Cliff as our post tandem we could be even better with our offensive rebounding, our screen and roll game and our low post defense.

Yeboah started slowly and IMO his value is easily overlooked. His maturity and ability to let the game come to him could have made a huge difference in the B1G and NCAA tournaments. Replacing him is my primary concern about next year’s team.

One big thing that Yeboah brought were those "cagey vet" instincts, which we were lacking a bit on a mostly underclassman squad. Next year we'll have more experience/maturity on average overall.
