Look on the bright side. If the NCAA had proceeded with a 16-team tournament in Atlanta, it is highly unlikely that Rutgers would have been one of those 16-teams.

Then you would be really mad
Why would they do that

Was wondering, at first, if you were also celebrating my 33-year dating anniversary with my wife, lol, as the first date was just a few days after meeting at the Melody Bar in 1987...

While cancelling March Madness pales in comparison to the enormity of what we’re all about to go through with the coronavirus from an enjoying life perspective, this so royally sucks, but damn we had a really great season.

The plan was to do just a top 16 team tourney instead of a whole 64 team field. Tourney would take place in Atlanta over 4 days.
That idea would have sucked so bad for the auto qualifiers from all the low/mid majors.

Today was going to be such a huge day for Rutgers nation. It’s all so disheartening.

Yeah, when I first heard the Big Dance was cancelled, I couldn't go to this site for a few days. Odd to see how sports is such a large part of life for a lot of people, whether it be NCAA, NFL, NHL, EPL, PGA, etc. Definitely something missing, but losing out on this opportunity to celebrate with fellow RU fans really sucks.
