We should give the 97 National Championship trophy to Michigan. That’s the only penalty large enough for that level of dumbassery by a Frost coached team.

If you had “ridiculous special teams play” on your Husker Bingo sheet you can mark it off.

We can’t over-state how incredibly stupid that onside kick was.

I hope it doesn’t haunt us, but am afraid it will.
I feel terrible for the players. They have to beat the other team AND their own head coach every Saturday. If Frost hadn’t shown up today, the Huskers would be up 35-10.

Sometimes it's really hard not to hate Scott Frost.
No true Husker fan wants to hate on Scott Frost. He's a legend for what he did on the field. We all love him. We all thought he was the second coming when he had success at Oregon and UCF. He will always be a Husker. But we got to hold him accountable for the results on the field. It's all about wins and losses. We know where he lies. I'm hoping that he can finally get back to Nebraska standards. I'm hoping this is just a learning curve this year. But stupid calls like timeouts at the end of the first half and on sidekick here in the second half is what is keeping Northwestern in the game.

I'm so tired of his crap. It's not okay. He should be learning what not to do as he keeps doing it game after game after game. You think he'd run out of stupid **** to do.

It's like Frost has a fetish for making sure every game is decided by one possession. It is bizarre.

Some calls look bad if they don’t work, and look good if they work…. that onside kick would have still been a horrible decision even if it worked.

I hate him. He’s an arrogant dbag who has been his own worst enemy.

Almost seems like his ego can't take him not being in the middle of things. In a position to take control of the game and HE needs to do something big.

That onside kick killed all our momentum. Now we play offense like we are up by 21. You can't fix stupid. I promise you.

A pee wee coach knows not the to onside kick there. Maddeningly stupid.

If we lose, I honestly would not be opposed to Frost being fired for that call.

Absolute sh): show. Another special teams gaff.... will wind up costing us the game. Northwestern has all the momentum now... I would put frost on the titanic to come home...

Hey, the special teams looks vastly improved, good punting, kickoff, coverage, at least that’s something (not including the onside kick call). The D will get shredded this year by the looks of it.

Winning coaches don't do gimmicky things. They play the percentages. Belichick is the perfect example. Hate him or love him, he does the right things to put them in position to win. Scott Frost does the opposite. It's infuriating.

I can't get over it. He has made a lot of bad decisions. That was hands down his worst. It is mind-numbing.

There is not one college coach in the past 20 years who would have even thought about an onside kick there, let alone call it. One can’t exaggerate how bad a decision it was.
