Auburn suddenly winning huge in the trenches. I was kind of expecting that from the start, but it's surfacing now.

hard to re-do the front lines in 3 years. It takes time to build that up.

That said, NU would have gotten killed by Auburn this year

Oh for sure. I'm not putting UCF down, I just think the difference in talent is coming to the forefront.

And good God yes - NU vs Auburn would have have been a complete ***-whipping.

Yes, they simply can't afford the kind of mistakes they've made today. QB is good, but has let them down a bit today. It's a lot to ask of a QB that young, though

UCF needs to play a tough noncon schedule and get into position to win their conference and play in these New Year's games going forward.

They have nothing to lose.

Tough to do, though. If they keep the program going with a new coach, most teams aren't ever going to do a home/away with them, and they'd be lucky to get a Power 5 team willing to schedule them at home early. Who wants to take the chance?
