I couldn’t have drawn up a better first drive of the second half than that. Eight and a half minutes ending in a TD. Perfect.

so figured it out Charlie Schmidt OL has a number change to 45 and is a blocking tight end

Grinding up more than half the 3rd quarter on ONE drive, perfect. Their D must be gassed. Our D might be cold though, they’ve not been playing for like an hour!

That TD is so far from anything McCall could have ever conceived of. There was actual deception, both in the overload to the left, and the jet sweep to the left, and then Bowser leaking out to the right. Just solid design and beautiful execution.

I think Fitz found a winner in Coach Jake.

I’ll also point out that Mike Locksley is known as a recruiter more than a coach, and has a 6-40 lifetime record as the guy in charge.

Also, gosh Bowser is fun to watch run.
And Skoronski looks good.

And Maryland is awful.

of course we are covering more in one game than we did in a month last year.

Good problem to have. But we do need a better kicker for kickoffs.

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better first game. Going to need some horses back on defense against a significantly better opponent. But tonight is perfect.

Let’s get this game over with so we can get over to the rant board and argue about Covid and the election. Or not.

I’d be fine if we kept adding quarters until Feb 2021.
