Yes he did. And didn't the official originally call the play dead
Yes he did, Originally called offense ball. Then just before the replay, they said that it was originally called turnover and defensive recovery. I would say hard to believe but...we are talking about the B1G Ten.

Is he allowed to kick the ball after the timeout has been called?
No. Timeout was called before the snap. But every good center will snap the ball as soon as he hears the whistle. Refs refuse to call it right. Just like bb when they go ahead and shoot or layup after whistle. That's technically a penalty

I think either way, it was going to be Iowa's ball regardless of the initial call.

Just always find a way to **** it up.
I’m having a hard time remembering a game where one team completely dominated the game in every respect only to just completely hand the game on a silver platter with idiotic mistakes. Just unbelievable. Not sure how to get this loser mentality out of the program.

Right. And if it's snapped AT the whistle, it never gets called and that's understandable.

In this case, it was far enough after the whistle their entire line had come out of their stances before the snap. It was egregious.

I kept telling my fam, Johnson is gonna break one big play. We need to score again. Our missed field goal among a dozen other things was a killer.

There is a reason hindsight we should've went with the young guys earlier.

IGC ..catch the punt
Neyor...catch the ball
Benhardt...make the block
Snapper..make a good snap to Buchini
Bullocks..make the damn tackle on Johnson

Again in the end don't worry about winning. We gotta figure out how NOT to lose it.

We did it against Michigan State under Frost. I think they had negative 2nd half yards.

Wrong. Rhule communicated he was too big of a ***** to go for the jugular, and the team followed.
Of all the things we messed up you’re blaming that? Missed field goal, punt catch keystone cops, Raiola fumble…..and that’s the play you blame. Never mind our own guy knocking the tackler off Johnson on that 76 yard screen pass.

Bullock had him wrapped and our own guy came flying in and knocked him off. The long snapper IS a young guy. 😕

I know nobody wants to hear this. But is Dylan not a winner? AM wasn't really one either. Every close game he seems to crumble. Statistically a lot of 5 stars still bust as it is.

I don't fault Rhule as I do these players. Make the ******* play. They are there to be made. Coaches can't coach this BS out guys do

Holla
Yep. Raiola missed multiple wide open receivers and eventually fumbled twice holding the ball in one hand. Twice. The punt screw up was just an unbelievable misfortune. I still think Iowa touched the ball first which should have given us the ball.

One bad play for the defense. But they aren't to blame for this travesty. Need to win the game when you allow only 13 points. Period.

Not me. Rhule is accountable for the players. This wins and losses are on Rhule. And he continues the tradition of being owned by Iowa

That missed field goal was a killer. IF you want to pick one play it was either that or the 3 missed tackles on the 76 yard screen play. Low snap…..again. Screwed up the timing.

I didn’t have that here we go again feeling today because we played so much better than them. 334 yards to 116 I think? Unbelievable that we lost that one. Terrible

Botched snap. Botched punt. Missed tackles. Dropped pass. None of those 4 plays are on the coaches. We make one of those plays and we win.

We didn’t win the game in two key areas. Turnovers and special teams.

I still think the refs got that one wrong. I believe Iowa touched the ball first. Should have been our ball. They clearly won the special teams battle.
Foley should have been fired 6 weeks ago. He is awful at his job and everyone knows it. The fact the Rhule didn’t can him his another red flag in his judgement.
