Catching the Northwestern player who almost scored in the second half was huge. During the Riley/Frost era Husker opponents always scored on plays like this. Then to follow up that play holding the Wildcats to a FG was great. I always text during the games to a lifelong Husker fan. I told him I thought the Defense this year has learned to overcome their mistakes. Give up a long pass or run. Come back and stop your opponent afterwards. The Offense has not learned how to do this yet. I will always take a win, no matter how ugly it was for the Huskers offense. GBR!!!
