Just got home from a long road trip for family business. I assume Smothers started today?

Nah, just effin with you. I knew this incompetent coaching staff would go with Purdy today.

Actually, Purdy looked better than Smothers has so far.

Watching this offense, as well as watching the Iowa/Wisconsin game on another TV....makes me want us to hire Chadwell. I miss watching fun football.

Really? When he missed Vokolek on a 3rd down it sounded someone kicked Benning in the nuts. All Benning talks about is how every coach on the staff is begging him to step up and not throw off his back foot. He's terrible.

Yeah Purdy had under 100 total yards passing and running. 30% of it on 1 first drive pass play. Maybe less bad? It’s shocking how bad this offense is without CT.

he played ok today, outside of that throw.

OL put purdy in bad spots with stupid false starts. He generally made good decisions, esp using his feet to get some yardage. Hit a few passes, Trey dropped a couple of very catchable balls.
