Good news is Palmer and Grant are legit weapons. I think Thompson is good when he's not getting decked a half second after dropping back to pass. I'm still way more worried about the defense than I am the offense.
Everyone will start crawling out from under their rock now and preaching at the pulpit about SF and his huge win over NORTH DAKOTA and how this will catapult us to……1 week closer to him being gone. That’s it
Sometimes after a tough loss, it takes awhile to wake up, Huskers did and won albeit very ugly at times.
Perhaps, but Iowa managed one FG on offense against an FCS opponent today. Plenty of suck to go around in this league.
I kind of think he's still right
1-1 feels like 0-2 (not me, though, I've forgotten all about week 0)

and on the whipple/frost it's-my-offense-no-it's-mine storyline that's certain to unfold this week
300 yards in 2 games. Grant is the best we have had for a bit. Hoping we can keep leaning on him. Finally learned to take it outside thr tackles a bit
Grant has earned that #1 spot.
Allen doesn't have the look of a kid who is going to redshirt. Has great feet. I can't wait to see what this kid does when he runs some outside stuff.
So far, I like both of their ball security since most runs are through tight spaces.
At this point, Ervin, Johnson, Yant ? are almost forgotten backs.
Yant has terrible vision and should not be in there other than to be a battering ram
Iowa almost lost to sdsu who barely beat ND by 3. Based on that we should be better than Iowa, but we are not.
It at least should have been a late hit on the QB
D line isn’t helping. They’re putrid
Put him in the slot, wouldn't mind seeing him as the motion man that becomes the pitch guy like Toure was quite a bit last year.
It's early, but I predicted he's a Reggie Bush 2.0 type. My season prediction I'm blaming on my dyslexia.
