BS we've seen enough of Smothers to know he can come in and give the offense a spark.
Interesting - the announcers started out the game discussing all the things Martinez has yet to accomplish in his illustrious career at Nebraska and were romanticizing the thoughts of him coming back next year.
Since then, the comments have been, “baffling, terrible decision, makes no sense, dangerous”, amongst many other adjectives.

This game quickly went from us having the ball in their territory to them having it in ours with no points to show for it. Dismal.
AMart can’t win games. Defense will need to win this one. The sucky part is AMart is hurting our defense. Tough way to win..
