Having been in that situation with the D in your face chasing you in the pocket, I can tell you that it ain't that easy. Getting anything other than a lofted arm punt up is damned tough and up until that last play, he was just trying to get it up midfield to give us a shot at a Hail Mary. Once it got down to that last play we were done. There was no hope.
