I love Luke. But he can’t throw

How do you explain his 62% completion rate. Pretty good for a guy that can’t throw you dumbass.

Oh don’t get me wrong I wasn’t blaming Luke at all for that second half, although I can see how my post read like that... I think over all he played a hell of a game, he is young and just has learn to take the sack some times... when I say the second half was brutal I refer to the offense as a whole, only like 90 something yards total... we needed to slow down and manage the clock and to do that you need to pick up some 1st downs... pass when needed but overall run the clock down, we couldn’t move the ball at all the second half and I think it’s because like you said the staff was calling a very conservative game in the second half

IMO, we maybe have one of the highest football IQ QBs in the league now. I'm going to give him plenty of time to develop. I think Frost maybe tried to protect him too much with the play calling in the second half but hey they won. What do I know.

One of his incompletions was to Kade Warner in traffic.......it bounced off of Warners chest in the end zone. Luke should have had a completion for a TD there.

I tend to agree with this, I think the aspect of Luke is he just wants to win, and he will try too hard to make something happen when there is nothing there. Him and Wan’del have that “it” factor and I think that sometimes with Luke it can hurt him I.e. the INT, at the end of the day though, like you said it’s a win and I will take it... happy to have Luke back there as he just seems to bring a different energy to that offense.

It's his first game and despite Ped States record they DO have talent on their team, let him be "the guy" for awhile that gets the major reps before we kick him to the curb. Right now he is 1-0 in the only stat that matters @ the end of the day....

My heart rate is just now trying to return to normal. LOTS of young guys playing a ton of minutes today with a Freshman QB getting his first start. I'll take a win over PSU without complaining too much.
