Yeah, that TD was unbelievably obvious OPI. Pick plays aren't legal, and they didn't even try to hide that one as he "accidentally" ran into the defender.

I thought it was an illegal pick play, maybe I'm not up to date on the rules? The slot guy made no attempt to get open. It was 100% a downfield block.

That's what I'm trying to figure out too, because I find it hard to believe that an official could miss that. It wasn't a "pick play" - it was a full-blown pancake block.

Unless I missed something and he was behind the LOS, which I'm pretty sure he wasn't, that wasn't even remotely legal. Sometimes you'll see teams get away with it by playing off as the guy accidentally ran into the defender, but he just ran over and flat out blocked him.
