I don't mind that they went to the air on that previous drive, but until NU has an O-line that can actually block someone, please stay away from slow-developing plays that require great pass protection. Just not going to work.
You dont like the run into the middle of 5 guys play?
Struggling in short yardage and goal line without the threat of the QB run game.
Exactly. We have to hit the line quickly with the runs and the passing game has to be quicker
These officials are reallllllly bad. Yeah it works both ways but we've had several more crucial "no calls" which would have resulted in first downs for us and prolonged drives. That was a blatant PI that just went uncalled to go with the earlier missed blatant face mask.
Thought they should have had Bunch run the same play Martinez ran last week to score.
I think Martinez must be injured worse than Frost is saying. Otherwise I think he would be playing given our lack of offensive punch
No threat of playmaking from the QB makes it tough to stress a D. We have no passing game, no qb run game.
Our D is giving up too many easy yards. Chin obviously got spooked by those deep one on one throws.
This head ref makes me want to punch things. He's so unbelievably bad it hurts.
They way we are struggling in the red zone, we need someone to bust a long TD.
