2nd Half Adjustments.....

More blitzing and man coverage.
The strength at the OL and DL eventually won out.

I was a little worried about leaving our guys out there 1 v 1 against their receivers most of the 2nd half but we had no choice. Still didn’t exactly get a lot of pressure on him until those last 2 drives. Not sure why when we blitz the linebackers they’re never really close to getting the QB. Almost more like a spy but he’s not a runnner so it doesn’t make sense.
Mostly getting an *** ripping for not performing. Peyton Manning laughs when people talk about halftime adjustments. He says they mostly ate bananas and stuff.
I am hoping and thinking that this team will evolve over the year as Lester and Phil find the correct mix of players and schemes to fit our talent.
Just seems that we still have not opened up the middle at all on offense .maybe tim wants to surprise IU?
Not sure we are athletic enough in back 7 overall on defense but Phil might find the proper level of aggressiveness to help them out as he did in 2nd half.
Take I eppy as example: is he not as ready as AJ or is our talent as good as it was on those great AJ defenses?
I have to think our talent at d-end is solid if he cannot get on field.
But you are only as strong as weakest link and that might be lbers and corner?
IU is the game that will have heavy significance on what the season will be.
PSU and Oregon we are outmatched...I accept that losing to them does not wreck the season.
