'26 Week 7 CFB games thread (10/16, /17), excluding PSU

Please use this thread to discuss all 2026 CFB games that take place in Week 7 of the schedule. There are a few games on 10/15, but 99% of the games are on 10/16 and 10/17. The only exception to this is the PSU - Michigan game, which will have its own game thread.

Good lineup today

Noon--5 good games lead by Indiana/Ohio State plus Texas/Florida, SMU/Virgina, Miss State/LSU and the Patty Fitz revenge game
3:30--Penn State vs Michigan but two great SEC games Bama/Tennessee & Mizzou/Ole Miss
Late--BYU/ND (let's go BYU) plus we get to see UCLA and Kentucky have a chance to show they're legit in games they should win
Real Late--Nebraska/Oregon--a chance to see how bad Oregon really is and they benched Raiola (curious to see if he portals again now) instead of letting him go against his former team

Cig is an elite HC--obviously--but going for that 4th & 4 seems like an overreaction to the missed FG earlier
Radicic has been very reliable and 3 there cuts it to 3. Now all the momentum is with Ohio State--we'll see what happens but...
Didn't understand that at all

Okay--Cig just knows Sayin is as bad as Hoover right now and they'd get the ball back--he's playing chess

Hoover has to take himself out--he was playing poorly before--now he's injured on top of that

Man was I wrong about Texas. At the start of the season I thought they would be invincible, but they’re about to get their second “L” against Florida.

Well, up until that. How do you let that happen? Good play call, but he just threw it up for grabs.

Patty Fitz played it safe and ran clock to set up a FG only for it to be blocked. Northwestern has a minute to avoid OT.
Fitz had coached an amazing game until then
