I like him, and certainly would be interested. But he's a restricted free agent. The Cowpokes have the right to match any offer that he signs. Plus, they placed a second-round, $5.76 M tender on him. So a team would have to top that number, and hope that the Pokes couldn't match it (doubtful). That seems like a lot for a kicker (though Aubrey is really good), but the top salaries for kickers has gone up. I believe Fairbairn, of the Texans, has the top salary, with an AAV of $6.5M, and Harrison, of the Chiefs, is close behind with an AAV of $6.4M.

The tender offer of $5.76M would make Aubrey the 4th highest FG kicker in the NFL.

Idk Tom. I think the guy might be worth it, to not even cross the 50 and be in FG range might be worth it

Too bad about Jones. The Steelers put it out there last week that they aren't planning to pick up his 5th year option. They've known that Jones may never play again for more than a month now. Seems like a nice kid. He might have a chance at a comeback in another year or two, but it most likely will not be with the Steelers.

I would be fine with the LT from Utah. I think the guy that ended the season playing LT for the Steelers did an admirable job also. I would also be really happy to get Vega to plug in at LG. However, I’m not sure I would take a chance on Allar. Simpson or Nussmeier would be my choice.
