I think Dake takes it to 3, Carr definitely can too. Luke could but just can’t give up a single td.

Agree on Levi—I was worried about the Chance matchup as recently as 2pm today, but much less so now. He is a master at adjustments but you can’t fix a broken gas tank so quickly.
Levi is a beast, and he absolutely refuses to lose. Unlike, MM, he's not flashy, he's just a beast.

70 kg round two Zain Retherford vs. Ridge Lovett (ZR leads 1-0)

We're underway. Stoppage at 5:16 to warn Retherford for passivity. Zain shoots on a double at 4:55 and Lovett has a chest lock but t doesn't matter as Retherford gets two exposures as Retherford continues to work but Lovett gets two exposures of his own to tie it at 2-2 and then a stalemate stops it at 4:09. Restart now and Lovett pokes Retherford in the eye causing a stoppage at 4:01. But, they're right back to it. And there's no additional scoring.

Lovett leads Retherford 2-2 on criteria after one.

Lovett leads Retherford 2-2 on criteria after one.

END BREAK

We're back underway. Retherford is going on the clock at 2:30. Retherford shoots on a double that he converts to a single and finishes with :03 left on the clock for a 4-2 lead before a stalemate at 1:54. They restart and Lovett reaches for a shot but Retherford fends it off. Now Lovett gets a deep single in and gets Lovett's ankle as they roll and Lovett comes up through the legs and Retherford cotninues to scramble and gets two exposures out of it. Sheesh. Wait until you see that video. It's two and two and an 8-2 lead for Retherford with :50 left. Stalemate at :47. They restart, Lovett shoots and Retherford blocks off and then pushes Lovett away. Lovett shoots and Retherford sprawls and blocks and they break apart at :10. that's it.

Retherford d. Lovett 8-2, wins series 2-0 and is on Team USA at 70 kilograms

125 kilograms round two: Wyatt Hendrickson vs. Mason Parris (Hendrickson leads 1-0)

Hendrickson is quickly in on a leg and finishes the shot for a takedown and 2-0 lead less than :30 seconds in. He's trying to gut wrench Parris but a stalemate is called before that. Hendrickson is on a low left single again but Parris fends it off long enough to get a stalemate at 4:53. Parris shoots on a single of his own and drives Hendrickson off the mat for a push out to make it 2-1 Hendrickson at 4:40. Parris shoots at 4:05 but Hendrickson blocks it off before a stalemate at 3:55. Parris drops on a single and is working through it by coming through Hendrickson's legs but Hendrickson has a foot as they go off the edge. Parris gets three out of it (two exposure and step out) to go up 3-2 but David Taylor tosses his brick. Upon review, Hendrickson gets a point for grounded out of bounds and Parris' corner is cautioned. The correct score now is 2-1 Hendrickson at 3:15.

They're back underway and there's no scoring. 3-1 Hendrickson after one.

BREAK ENDS

We're back underway. Parris counter shoots and gets in on a single and Hendickson is holding the ankle leading to a stalemate. Michigan corner is NOT happy again. It's 3-1 Hendrickson now with 2:05 left. Parris shots, Hendrickson blocks, and drops in on an ankle himself and is trying to come around for a takedown and gets two for a 5-1 lead before a stalemate at 1:25. ANd now there is blood time for Parris.

We're now back to action. Parris shoots but Hendrickson blocks it off. Parris back to back shots and neither get home. Another shot for Parris and Hendrickson blocks it off leading to a stalemate at 1:00. Parris gets in on a leg again but no further and it's a stalemate at :43. And another stopage at :31. Parris shoots but Hendrickson counter shoots and gets a takedown for a 7-1 lead at :21. Stalemate at :12. That'll do it. Parris rolled Hendrickson late after the whistle and Hendickson is shaken up and actually fell to the mat but seems to be OK as they raise his arm.

Hendrickson d. Parris 7-1, wins 125kg series 2-0, makes Team USA
I said this years ago, I never ever saw Parris as a legitimate heavy or athletic enough. So it is.

74kg round two, Levi Haines vs. Chance Marstellar (Haines leads the series 1-0)

We're underway. Stoppage for Haines passivity warning at 5:16. They restart and Marstellar reaches in but he can't get to Haines. MArstellar drops in on a low single and is trying to finish it but Haines locks in behind him and is up over Marstellar's shoulder as they roll through and continue to scramble and it leads to a stalemate. Somehow Marstellar got two out of that. Not entirely sure when or how. Penn State corner is challenging it. Upon review, it is two exposures for Marstellar. No indisputable evidence to overturn it. So now it's 3-0 Marstellar at 4:30.

They restart and Haines is a bit more active now. He shoots in on the edge but can't get there as they circle back to center. Stoppage for Marstellar to be warned for passivity as Marstellar grabs at his ribs again. They restart and levi drops in on a leg and is working for and gets two before the horn to make it 3-2 after one.

Marstellar leads Haines 3-2 after one. Marstellar looks pretty tired as Haines takes instruction from Casey Cunningham and Jake Varner.

Whatever was called on the mat would've stayed. I thought he cartwheeled and never exposed. Levi will open up and run him down
