Was a very sad day for the state of Nebraska!

Remember it like it was yesterday. I was living in Goodland at the time. What a fine young man, taken too soon to be with His King.

One of those 9/11 type moments for me that I'll never forget where I was when I heard. I was on my way to Kearney when I heard the news on the radio.

Sad day indeed.

A few years back I traveled thru Goodland for the first time since the 70's. As I approached the town I was taken back with Brook 's story and all the sadness that comes with the end. I thought it was strange how it all came back to me. On my return trip thru town it had rained and there was a big rainbow in Goodland,yeah I got water in my eyes. You just can't make this stuff up. Brook and Sam both hurt. Sam was of the same character mold as Brook.
