No complaints from me with Peacock. The fact that I'm watching golf from the first tee shot until the last putt drops is pretty amazing...and with 4 TVs going too!
He's working his way out of contention because of his inability to consistently hit fairways. Rory has the same problem. It will interesting to watch Ben Griffin this afternoon.
If the lead (sans Burns) creeps closer to Even (which I anticipate), a LOT of guys are going to be in contention.
A LIV golfer with not win any major championship moving forward. They simply do not play enough tournaments to be ready for the test that any of the four majors present. Since the start of May there have been two LIV tournaments, six rounds of competition in two months. I was very bullish on LIV when it first started but as time has gone on the lack of tournaments is making it, in my opinion, impossible for any player from LIV to win a major.
Bryson is the defending champion. Brooks and DJ both still have it inside themselves somewhere. Just needs to come out at the right time.
As I mentioned - moving forward. Koepka's score today doesn't look that bad as the day has gone on, but I still say they aren't playing enough to be locked in for a major championship test.
Is the biggest difference between Thursday and Today (and the remainder of the tourney) the pin placements on the greens such that it forces the players to approach each hole differently?
