.....lots of topics discussed, lots of OFF topic threads started, lots of prayer requests asked for and given, lots of excitement moments, recently more dismal outlooks...
When I first joined, I became a Husker Board addict...so much good stuff....Frank was still our coach IIRC, Crouch was our qb, Tough Tony was the board lightening rod...many memorable topic threads, many new acquaintances, MOST whom I've never met personally....times I've waned in my enthusiasm for our outcomes, never the core belief....
Thoughts about the era of posting(not overall fandom, which started in '62):
-that's a LOT of posts...perhaps could use my time better
-favorite athlete....too many to name....
-favorite coach....has to be Cook, even though my ONLY Volleyball love is Husker volleyball
-greatest moment to share...sitting randomly by Tommie at the 2009 Big 12 Championship game but NOT having a phone that had a camera
-greatest disappointment....how the Frost regime turned out
- greatest joy.....sharing moments to laugh over/argue over etc
-great gratefulness...when our first granddaughter died in 2007, the outpouring of support and prayers from total strangers bonded only by our common thread of the Huskers
Well, I won't make 22,000 more....no, not dying, I don't think.....just less might be more....
