Naperville (IL) 2028 four-star wing Cole Kelly was back at Carver to see IOWA take on Western Michigan.

Kelly, a top-40 prospect nationally, has had an incredible start to his sophomore season.

Iowa offered 6'4" Slinger (WI) 2028 three-star combo guard Joey Kohnen after watching him Saturday night in Milwaukee. Ben, Josh Sash, and Bryston Williams were in Wisconsin on Saturday night watching Kohnen, as well as top 2027 targets Jack Kohnen and Donovan Davis.

I watched that game and the announcers said the Kohnens are basically committed to Wisconsin. Obviously they could be FOS, and McCollum can work his magic, but I'm not counting on them coming here. Very talented and would look great in black and gold.

Iowa has offered two more top prospects:

4 star 6'10" center Logan Chwastyk (out of Malvern, PA). He has other offers from Indiana, Florida State, Notre Dame and Penn State.

4 star 6'9" PF Bentley Lusakueno (out of Atlanta, GA). He has other offers from Georgia Tech, Georgia, K-State and Missouri.

Ben's main recruiting footprint remains Missouri, Oklahoma, KC, ect.
Makes sense with his nwmo.st run, but I wondered if it would work for Iowa.
Wagler,Sage, Daugherty, Davis at KC Monarch prep, mcdaniel...ect

Fran could never really lure Philly/ East Coast HS recruits to Iowa.

I like having a go to recruiting region like TJ at ISU has SE Wisconsin.

There's some pretty solid talent in Missouri between KC and St Louis. Especially when you throw in western KS schools in the KC metro footprint and down toward Wichita schools like sunrise academy......

Agreed. I also love how Ben has shown the ability to cherry pick outside of those regions for elite talent, too.
