She will be hard to bet Dawn S for her services unless SC does not go after her. If they do, then it is going to be tough.

Looks like we had four recruits on campus today. 3 of them are local from the Charlotte area. Hopefully, they got a chance to talk with BT who is from Charlotte. They looked pretty tall. Go Heels!

2028 Chloe Johnson wants to visit per this article

This Tweet reveals a little more info for those without premium access (if you are a diehard UNC WBB fan you SHOULD get premium access)

Chloe Johnson is the #5 overall 2028 recruit, the top PG in her class:

She is from MN, a state that for whatever reason we have recruited pretty well in the past (Koenen, Ustby, Zubich). Could Johnson keep the streak of Minnesotans wearing #1 alive? Next season will be year 11 with Zubich a Junior.

We need Koenen, Ustby, and Zubich to all go to this young woman's house at the same time and discuss UNC women's basketball for her and her parents to promote UNC and why she would be a get fit if she chose to go there.

That would be a recruiting violation, but I love the idea of it.

Stanford lost a top 20 commit:

I don't see any indication that she has visited/interested in UNC though

The article is misleading. She is in the class of 2028. I do not think she can commit this early. She can verbal say I want to go to Stanford, but to commit two years out. I don't think so.

Not an article; it is her personal social media page. Virtually all offers in the world of women's college basketball are self-reported. Whether that is on their social media or in interview with a reporter. colleges cannot comment on who they offer. So we are always relying on what recruits say and we never really know if these offers are "committable offers" or more of an expression of strong interest by a program.

You can verbally commit well before signing day, at any time really. It just isn't binding to either party. Programs can offer young recruits by extending unofficial verbal offers at their elite camps or through indirect communication, or when a player contact them. Now that players have agents, indirect communication is even easier. That can be before June 15 of their rising junior year when official communication channels open up. After then, yo your point, things begin to get much more official.

Lanie Grant committed to UNC between her freshman and Soph years.

Eggperts. Surely there are another 30-40 names we will get? Lets sign another 4-5 guards less that 5'9". Pies in those skies. Not on the court. Tiresome for May-June.

Are you asking this board not to report on players we are recruiting?

On the upside of recruiting, UNC is getting a lot of interest from the top players in HS. Some of them will be a long shot, but there seems to be interest in a lot of them taking unofficial visits. This could be related to what's in NIL for them, or CB is getting some recognition and respect from players who really want to be involved with a team which feels like family.

There are a lot of offers out for there for players who could be impact type of athletics, all is needed is for two of the Top 20 players to commit.

That is the plan. I think CB has been talking to some of the elite coaches about recruiting top level talent and If you offer at ten to 15 of them, you are hoping that you can get at least 1 or 2 of them to commit to your program. I hope that we can at least land 1 or 2 of them from the 2027 class. Go Heels!
