My optimisim for CD is waining. Our visit will be a distant memory by the time he wraps up his visits. Jaxson Davis has been my pick for some time. I like how he facilitates from the point.

still think Ben signs him? :)
I do! Here's the thing I think we have to remember. He's always had a TON of interest, and we've been fighting that battle since day 1. Just because he announced an additional 6 visits doesn't change anything with his recruitment, except our perceptions of his interest in "others". He has always said he was going to line up a bunch of visits, he just made it official.

You got to think Stirtz will be at the visit right? His availability could have affected the timing of it.

I'd love to see him in a Hawkeye Uniform. From a financial perspective, you have a kid who down the road will be undersized at his position in regard to the NBA. Does he go for the biggest bucks that college can offer, knowing that his opportunities down the road after graduation may be limited? Or, does he choose the best fit, which should be Iowa? Bet there's a ton of carrots dangling right now.

FWIW it's been rumored all the offers are likely going to be pretty similar, near market value. Haven't heard that anyone is planning on breaking out a $5-$7 million offer to him.

Back in post #457 I made a comparison to guard, Brayden Burries, who was paid $1M by Arizona last year and was a top 10 pick in the NBA draft. The two are similar in their class rankings. Pretty sure Burries is 6' 4" tall, the height the NBA likes. I think that the market might be around that figure.
