Regarding Chase Branham, the 4 star shooting guard out of Rogersville, MO:

Is Indiana the favorite to land him?

Note that he is visiting Iowa City on October 18/19 (Iowa plays Penn State on Oct 18).

Some excerpts from the below, free article:

Which schools are heavily involved?

”Man, super blessed. I would say the main ones are Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Purdue, Tennessee, and Creighton are the ones that are most heavy on me right now.”

Have any new schools reached out?

”Yes, I’ve had some new ones being Duke, Louisville, Gonzaga, Texas, and Virginia.”

Indiana, what are your thoughts on them?

”I really like them. Definitely a good fit for sure. Just the place itself is amazing. But the main thing is the way they get up and down [the court] and let it fly. I see them as a great option.”

Visit plans?

”I am going to Indiana this weekend, and to Iowa on October 19th. Getting Tennessee planned for the fall, and Missouri, Creighton, and Purdue for the winter.”

How would you describe your game?

”I’m a versatile guard. Someone who has a good feel for the game, who can play on the ball and knock down shooter who can play off it. I would say I’m a lead-by-example type of guy who works hard as well.”

Most chatter is Iowa/Indiana. He LOVES Stirtz. Studies him more than any player in the country. The staff feels he's a Stirtz clone, too. Barnwell is big game hunting on this one--I like our chances.

Check this out & watch:

Quinton Kitt, with his strong positional size and frame for a wing, proved to be a formidable presence on both ends of the court.

His ability to absorb and play through contact was notable, and he showcased his rebounding prowess by boxing out effectively and reaching double-digit rebounds in multiple games.

His shooting mechanics appeared sound, and he has the potential to develop into a reliable passer.

Kitt's athleticism was also on display, as he was able to get high enough to contest shots both at the rim and on the perimeter, showcasing his strong defensive potential.

From the linked story:

6'1" PG Jason Gardner Jr. currently has 5 planned visits:
Notre Dame (10/4)
Kentucky (10/18)
Purdue (10/25)
Ohio State (11/1)
Cincinnati (11/15)

He also told Stockrisers.com that Louisville, Wake Forest, North Carolina, and Iowa will be in for him this Wednesday, September 24.

Which schools are heavily involved?

”Pretty much everyone is involved. Ohio State, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, Purdue, Indiana, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Creighton, Iowa, Louisville, that's just to name a few.”

Have any newer schools shown interest?

”North Carolina, Wake Forest, Maryland, Minnesota, and Oregon.”

How about Iowa, and what are they pitching?

”Pretty much the same thing. They play differently, but always have shooters, and the way I draw attention and collapse the defense and able to kick out, how he runs his offense.”

Outside of your current planned visits, are you working on others?

”Florida, Iowa, Texas, Creighton, and Indiana.”

Will those be this fall as well, or closer towards the spring?

”I think Texas and Creighton in the spring and Florida, Iowa, and Indiana in the fall.”

"Who is heavily in the mix? Plus, details new, but heavy interest, from both Louisville, Maryland & Iowa."

Both Louisville, MD and Iowa? Sounds like Iowa is an afterthought
