Read elsewhere Wood is more like Becht, Purdy, and McSorely. Perhaps that means he is better suited for Campbell system and PSU. I’m not sure. Bourque is definitely the better prospect at this point, but you just don’t know until they play games in college. For what it’s worth Khalil Taylor folllowed Wood today on X. Sometimes that means something, and sometimes it means nothing. We’re actually need 2 qbs in those cycle. Campbell has shown interest in this guy as well. He may get an offer at some point…

I think it precious that you accuse me of a "man crush." It's you and others here who have been moist between the legs since Matt Campbell arrived.
People who have swallowed the Kraft narrative of Franklin's alleged mismanagement of the roster money and his recruiting philosophy are willfully naive.
Let me ask. since we now have a savant managing the roster finances.....where was the splash in the portal?
Why is PSU recruiting at an"88" average....certainly no better than Franklin did? Where are the 5 stars with the money we saved managing the roster better?
The answer is simple. It was all Kraft smoke. I give him credit.....he did build powerhouse programs at Temple and Boston College.
The portal was about bringing the Iowa State roster to PSU. Please tell me, would you put your money on Ohio State, Oregon, USC, Indiana etc. if they played Iowa State?
PSU is very fortunate that this year's schedule only has 2 teams with a pulse. It could get nasty after this season.
Wood's legs are a part of his game, where as Bourque is more of a pocket passer. Campbell wants a QB that can use his legs. I'd say yes, Wood fits what Campbell wants to do offensively better than Bourque.
PS I don't think it's wise to give a HS QB a 7 figure NIL deal given the fact that they probably don't play their 1st year and the fact that they can take that money and transfer after 1 year.

Ironic that fans who are nicknamed Joebots are complaining about someone being a fan of a coach. I didn't even bring up Franklin. It is the haters who bring him up every day. I replied to their posts.
Let’s be clear here. I don’t think I’ve made any posts about Campbell since he got the job. Maybe something along the lines of, “I hope he does well” but I’m not even sure about that. I’m a pretty patient fan. I’ll wait and see what he does. To say I’m “moist between the legs” about Campbell is not only disgusting but typically lazy posting from you.
Franklin ****** up last year, plain and simple. Undeniable. He had a team that was preseason #2, then didn’t show up including a loss to a team that didn’t really have a coaching staff when the playoffs were still a legit possibility.
Here’s the shame of you Marshall. If you talk football instead of blindly supporting the (departed) coach you’re one of the best in here. You know and understand the game better than almost anybody on here. Possibility better than anybody on here. But instead you spend your time lauding a guy that didn’t show up last year for a multi-million dollar paycheck. It’s a shame.
