Cats got off to a characteristically slow start. Then executed their offense and tightened up their D. They just wear down their opponents over the course of a game. Maddy T with six goals! Nice to have another leftie, Aditi Foster, as a scoring threat, too.

The Cats will play Michigan Friday afternoon in the conference tournament semi-final. We beat Michigan last week in the season finale, and it's a pretty good bet we will play them again in our regional NCAA tournament bracket.

Maryland made their comeback by potting shots from the perimeter and basically using athleticism to beat man coverage and get off a clear shot. Great to see us turn the tables to win it! What a performance by Cuocco!

Great to see us win even when Maddie Taylor is stifled. Terps’ D was keying on her, but she still can give out the assists when our foes focus on her. Props also to Annabelle Child who had a hat trick, scoring the game winner at the last second of OT. And Jenika Cuocco made some superhuman saves in the cage. Instant Classic if ever there was one. Now it’s on to the NCAA’s and we’ll have home field advantage throughout!
