A starter at the 4 to replace Harris is the biggest need imo.
I love Ciera but she either needs to get stronger or we need to get a 5 that can rebound against high level teams
Currently, there’s 3 open ships (I believe we can work our way around Syd if needed and resources are there). I think we’ve got several things we’ve got to consider when looking at portal.
-who goes? Who remains?
-Is Reniya expected a full return and be able to go for the full year? If not, you’ve got add another ball handler.
-foreigners- is everything set in stone for their return and for their futures.
-Noelle Bofia: early enrollee; ideally we already know if she will be an immeadiate impact player from day one. She’s been here 3 months. If not, you need a 4 and a 5 in my opinion.
-Taissa was expected to be more of a guard. Is she able to transition there or is it realistic for her to? She was 0-9 from 3 and they were not pretty. I do think she grows significantly defensely.
I do expect to see 1 or 2 more transfers. I’d expect us to add:
-1/2
-athletic wing
-big
look for names of who we’ve played as they enter the portal and former finalists of HS players.

VT’s elite big is entering the portal. Would be a great fit here.

Have been thinking she would be another great fit for us. Where did we finish in her HS recruiting?
Did not finish as a finalist. This one is different as a foreigner though. Parents moved back to Hungary this year with her entire family. Zero regions in the US that favor a more likely commit.
