Shelbyville senior RB/DL Jaden Meister is a non stop two way starter and impact player for the Rams. Meister will be asked to provide leadership and production for the Rams on and off the field this fall.

Shelbyville sophomore to be Jayce Davis is a name to watch this coming season for the Rams. Davis is expected to play multiple positions (RB/WR/LB) this season and has a chance to become an impact player this fall.
EDGY's Preseason Thoughts on the 2026 Shelbyville Rams:
The Rams are looking to improve upon it's 5-5 season in 2025m as the Rams made the Class 2A state playoffs and lost to Westville in Round 1 action. Shelbyville wound up losing it's last three games of the 2025 season (all to state playoff teams). This is a Shelbyville program that under head coach Bill Duckett has made the state playoff field five straight years. Duckett has posted a very solid 63-40 record in his 10 seasons at the helm.
The biggest question for Shelbyville in 2026?
Can the Rams continue its winning ways in 2026? Again under the new early start to the season and expanded playoff field making the state playoffs should be no issue for Shelbyville. Winning the HOCIC Large Conference and getting a Round 1 state playoff bye is the new goal for all teams in 2026, Shelbyville included.
Preseason Ranking? HOCIC title contender. Class 2A state playoff qualifier.
