OSU and Mich will have 2 returning talented QBs.
Hope becht of isu bails.
Definitely an attractive home slate.
Wash QB is a problem.

Becht didnt hurt us much the last 2 years, ISU only scored one TD on us this year and we handed them their first FG with a penalty on the kickoff. If Iowa has a better offense we should beat them and we should have a very good defense again with alot of the back 7 back but some holes to fill on the DLine

N Illinois has beat us before, the MAC plays good football, not sure if they are good this year of will be next year but probably cant sleepwalk through that game.

Playing UNI keeps money in the state and helps their program, I think they have been down a bit

I have been ready to dump ISU since around 2005-6. I hope we dump them or only play them twice every decade. I want to see home and home schedules with other P4-P5 teams

Actually I would like to see a 10 game big 10 schedule and maybe two decent teams that not ISU

Would hawk fans be happy with Kirk and Iowa if they now took over James Franklin and PSU’s spot in the conference? Always winning 10 games and beating the teams they’re supposed to but losing to every top 15 and up team the Hawks play?

Sounds good to me. I’m happy now. Kirk constantly has the boys ready to go

Would be cool to check it out. I remember the old Dyke Stadium (aka Ryan Field) -what a dump! It was like going to a division II stadium.
I'm sure the new stadium will be nice.

Going to NW games is easy and tickets are usually readily available. Iowa fans fill half the stadium.

The last time Iowa played there (Ryan Field) was 2021. A group of protesters, around college age, came out onto the field with bed sheets as protest signs. It was a very weird scene as the Iowa defense was just standing on the field with these clowns during a TV time out. No one did anything about it until a couple got fairly close to an official. Then a plain clothed security went towards them and they all ran off. Quite strange that they let them on the field and never stopped them while they were on the field.

At one point, an Iowa fan ran out to them and snatched one of their bed sheets. Pretty funny, but the culture was a different in 2021.

Ryan Field was quite the high school stadium. I’m certain there are better high school fields out there than that stadium was.

NIU is 3-7
UNI is 3-7

Yes, almost everyone has a crappy opponent, or even two, most seasons. We do it EVERY season - no changes. It’s old.

Sharar, Harrell, Rexroth, Hall, Nwankpa, are all done after this season.
