2026 Phillies Thread

[RyanSnyder]

They should have set the game time at the end of the Yankees game last night. The official time wasn’t set until after the 10:00 game last night.

Don’t think it is right to leave people that are going to attend not knowing if it is 2:00 or 8:00 game on a work day.

It’s all because NBC has two time slots, 2 pm and 8 pm. NBC has to take a break for local news in that 5-7ish window. Add in the fact that they can’t play Game 3 in San Diego at 11 am local time and that’s why there was so much uncertainty.

They’re not going to put any Game 3 on NBCSN/Peacock unless they have 3 or more games to play.

NBC is also why this series has been at 2 pm the past two days. They’re not putting Phillies vs Braves on NBCSN/Peacock. That instantly crushes viewership.

Local news is why it can’t be something like 5 and 8 pm

Nola and HR, he doesn't have it today

I predict the Phillies still win game 3.

Harris golfed that sucker into the bleachers, it didn’t look as if the ball was six inches off the ground.

Aaaaand THERE’S ‘ol meatball Nola. Watch the O won’t score a run. Man…. This team has me flinching like an abused spouse

[rudedude]

And Wheeler has meatballs on the menu too tonight. It’s all over now, baby blue.

[Tom McAndrew]

not much went right for the Fightins in Game 3, and thus their season is ended.

This end was inevitable. Now it’s time to shake up this team. Some of these dudes need to be traded on outta here. This clown is one of rhem

[JVP_Yahweh]

Tough ending. They don't have a lot flexibility in that roster to make changes for 2027. Be interesting to see how they managed free agency

[Efejle]

Stop complaining. You could have Bob Nutting as your owner.

End of argument.

[royboy]

Eh? Is that a big deal?

12 teams in the playoffs -- 11 end the season with a loss.
