They should have kept Bader.Can they just designate an automatic out for Garcia instead of letting him bat? He can still
play the field because he is good defensively, but hitting? OMFG!!!
Dang. I was hoping to see what sort of reception Nick would have gotten had he came up to bat. Now we'll never know...
They showed him in the dugout last night on the big screen scoreboard and he was cheered. He tipped his cap to the fans.
Hell no. Bader is even worse this year than Garcia. We got Bader on a heater last year. He picked a great time to get hot for a season.

He’s also currently on the DL, so that probably has something to do thing to do with the poor showing so far this season. Garcia’s numbers are comparable and he is healthy.
Sanchez tossed another great game and got the victory. He accomplished something only four other pitchers in MLB history have matched. He broke a Phillies record which had been around for 115 years. 115 years!!!
Yet, it's ridiculously weird that a small part of me feels bad for him. "Just a few more innings and the record could have been his!!!" But that's just being greedy. It was a feat which nobody has seen in the past 38 years. It was great to have been able to follow it.
