The landscape changed dramatically and not unsurprisingly, his coaches didn’t put him into a position to adapt and progress towards improvement. It’s a microcosm of their whole program.

I admit it. I will root for Davino. He's only four months older than Forrest but in his SECOND year of college.
I didn't see it but as he walked off for the protocol, he didn't seem to be steady on his feet. Hopefully nothing serious.
Blaze: it requires hand control to get out at this level
Zero doubt that the only thing holding Marcus back is strength training. Time to get to work with Zain on the farm. Not kidding.
Mr. Blaze has a lot to work on to compete with these other freshmen.

Per 1
A lot of head and wrist control battles off the whistle. Nothing much thru 1 min. No shots thru 2 min. Stoppage with 0:44 sec left (not certain why; probably hands to the face or interlocked fingers). Blaze with late shot, AS tries to counter, no commitment from either. Buzzer. End
Per 2
Blaze takes bottom. Blaze to his feet, returned, to his feet again, and returned, then OOB with 1:29 left. Blaze sits out and AS pulls him back, then Blaze to his feet, then returned. Blaze works up, then flattened. RT goes over 1 min. A good ride by Seidel. Now Seidel working a chicken wing, but stoppage with 11 sec left for PD (good call). Caution on Seidel. Blaze up quickly, but returned, back up, but the buzzer sounds. A rideout. End. RT @ 2:00 for Seidel

Seidel takes bottom. Blaze cuts him, 0-1. Stoppage for a poke to the eye of Blaze. Blaze trying to spin behind but they go OOB with 1:38 left. Closest Blaze was to getting a TD. Blaze active again and has a head outside single, they scramble, Seidel has a foot, they roll thru and Seidel has better position, and gets a TD, 0-4. 40 sec left. Blaze works up, then returned on the edge. Under 30. Seidel tries a tilt and gets one swipe. End. With RT, it's a 5-0 DEC for Aaron Seidel.

I didn't have 3 losses for Blaze on my bingo card this year.
Seems that is evidence any injury in the previous match wasn’t too bad. I wondered if his loss was a result (in part) of being injured.
Physically dominated there. Needs to get much stronger to beat these guys
Nice effort by Blaze, but had issues with Seidel's length. But glad Blaze at least attacked in the 3rd period.

Tough to beat the best in folkstyle when you can't get out and can't ride. Good year, after getting ridden all summer by Zain there should be improvements.
Blaze needs strength and work on getting out from bottom and riding on top. all can be worked on

Doesn’t ride exceptionally well and struggles on bottom with top guys..:I’d argue it’s a bit more than strength. Just MHO.
Blaze, Duke and Mirasola all took losses due to riding differentials (or reactions to them).
