Let’s scenario plan this…how can Ojomo get paid with Carter and Davis eating huge chunks of the cap? And Quinyon and Coop will need to be extended too.

I don’t see a scenario where this happens at anything close to what Ojomo could get on the open market.

Backup DT now becomes a low-cost rookie deal approach for a few seasons.

I think getting paid is a relative term. He's known here, he could go somewhere else and get cut, you never know. He wont get big money but he will get extended, imo. the other 2? dont forget the cap (99%) of the time goes up, there will be money for them

We have to look at this as opportunity cost. Will a young DT who has flashed at times command more $ than on a rookie 3rd round contract?

I think we all agree the answer is yes. That’s the issue. Every dollar there is one that can’t be used in other areas like Edge or CB.

If he takes that step that most of us think he can take, we're in Milton Williams territory. he'll earn a starting role with starting $$ and it won't be here. good comp pick though. cross your fingers the Vanilla Gorilla figures it out and can take that next step
