2026 B1G Tourney Session IV Thread

[ElDuce]

Never a doubt SVN

[Rugbypoet]

Shayne is never allowed to grow a beard ever again. Clean Shaven Shayne with the fall!!!!!!

[Misalorales]

Or do that. Hell yea, what a pin..

[Sunshine88!]

WOW ! SNV

[District 4]

Don't worry i had a talk with shane before the match

[PSUFANinVA]

See what happens when you tuck your elbows in?!

[zzs006]

SVN!! Thank god someone talked to him before this match. Made all the difference

[Reslo1]

I guess someone finally talked to Van Ness!

[gimb14]

Shayne!

[CentexLion]

Just confirming one of you guys talked to SVN, right?

Yeah. I told him to pin the osu guy. I’ll talk to Marcus next week

[SRATH]

Myles Stiles

[El_Jefe]

What's the story on the team race or are we going to pull away on murderers row?

It's currently 154.5 - 145.5. We have 6 left in the finals, anOSU has 1 left (149 Stiles vs Van Ness).

Ohio State would've needed to win 149, win some 3rd and 5th place matches, and have us lose the rest of the way out. Not gonna happen.

Shayne pinning Styles should lock it up.

[ccdiver]

First take down please man.

He got it.

[NittanyChris]

ATTA BOY SHAYNE!!!

That's how you do it!!!

[District 4]

I ******* love shane van ness. Best smile in college wrestling

[mvattivo]

Good lord, could the ref take longer to get into position?

Awesome job by Van Ness! I'm really happy for him! I hope he gets it done in two weeks!

[Wilbur Kookmeyer]

SVN FOR PRESIDENT.

2028. You heard it here first, folks.

[gimb14]

What's the story on the team race or are we going to pull away on murderers row?

no one who knows how this works was ever worried about the team score

[Hotshoe]

Y'all see that sh&t? tOSU came to wrestle. They are absolutely loaded, and Shane just pinned their sh&t! Boo Yeah! BIG Champion!

[bwc]

So glad someone spoke to him, it apparently worked

[Sir Pin Alot]

Myles Stiles

Now you're being brutal, lol

[WEAREPSU_LI]

Another outstanding, positive representative of our University!

[jstross]

That was one hell of pin. Whoooooooooooooo

[NittanyChris]

Now let's go PJ! Time for a little vengeance!

so when I responded to someone saying if we won 2 finals to get to 155.5, ohio state wouldn't catch us, I wasn't being an idiot?

[Cstroke]

Just in case anyone wonders I am the commander

[jmadden1998]

I'm gonna take a drink every time you guys complain about Taylor stalling. I hope to make it through the rest of the tournament.

[Hotshoe]

I wish Mark Hall would have won a second Natty. He was definitely good enough...

Someone just had his number, went to the wayside, came back, and then got his a&& kicked. Make it make sense! Lol

[johnstownsteel]

Uhh...Tuesday? Sh!et...think I no called no showed today. Bummer..

[GregPickel]

I don't know if that clinches the team title, but if it does, it would mean Van Ness pinned Stiles to clinch the 2025 NCAA title then pinned him a year later to clinch the 2026 Big Ten title.

[District 4]

Just in case anyone wonders I am the commander

I thought today was sunday?

[pish69]

SVN!!! I think he’d pin Stiles if they wrested 10 times. 10 out of 10. Stiles does some has some bad habits

[RBOld]

The think I'll never get about SVN is how he's so amazing on top and so bad on bottom. You'd think that the strength he uses to turn guys from top would translate into being able to get out from bottom.

[Parks22]

Where’s Maning for Hardy vs Mendez? I don’t see him anywhere in the arena at all.

edit: saw him after the match congratulate Hardy

He was straight behind center mat along the railing for the match. Also noticed the ref he chased after the stalling call match was the secondary ref on the Hardy match. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not?

[El_Jefe]

so when I responded to someone saying if we won 2 finals to get to 155.5, ohio state wouldn't catch us, I wasn't being an idiot?

We're all idiots here.

[ccdiver]

I would rather blaze against someone else in the semis than Davino. Bad matchup for him.

Marcus beat him in a TB 3 weeks ago, and lost today in a TB. What you mean is an uncomfortably good matchup.

[Dogwelder]

This inside board joke might have some staying power.

I think this joke came from Sunshine, right? The guy people think is Spyker. Let’s be nice to Sunshine. He is a treasure.

[Hotshoe]

Wow. That was absolutely amazing from SVN!

Don't ever let VN get you close to your back. He will absolutely own you!

[Cstroke]

I'm gonna take a drink every time you guys complain about Taylor stalling. I hope to make it through the rest of the tournament.

You may not live.

Taylor is just backing up…
I’ll start this early

[El_Jefe]

Every time somebody says "that's a junior high move, won't work in college" ... Shayne Van Ness just won the Big Ten Tournament with a suck-back.
