Looks like the long Cali trip this year.
Hate the California swing. Every away game except our reciprocal with dook is a plane ride. (or do we drive to Clemson?)

UVA, VT, NCSU, WF, dook all at home.

Here is a video I just found called WBB: Courtney Banghart Summer Media Availability for this year's team. She talks about Kate, the four transfers, etc. She says that her and her staff want to advance pass the sweet 16 and in order to do that they need more length, athleticism, and experience on this upcoming team, and they felt that they did that with the additions of CC, AK, SB, and GW. She said that expect better rebounding from the guard positions because that was an area of concern last year. She said that Kate, SB, CC, and GW are should be able to rebound from the guard position. Here is the link for you to see and hear. You should found it very interesting and very informative.

6string you are quite welcome. It got me fired up too. CB answered a lot of questions we had coming into this upcoming season. I encourage all Tarheel WBB fans to listen to the video that I posted because CB gives a lot of insightful information and she answers a lot of our questions that we all had after we lost to UCONN. She talks about how the new players are tougher, experienced, can shoot, rebound the basketball, how physical they are, how they have quickness and length on the perimeter, how they can defend quicker guards, how Gabby Williams and Kate can really push the ball up the floor. How RK is 100% healthy now. How Akot can rebound like AU, run the floor like AU, has tremendous footwork on the offensive, excellent hands like NH, how she finishes around the rim with both hands. She said that Akot is going to cause problems in the inside, etc. I think you really need to listen to the video that I posted. 6string and I both got fired up after we listened to it. I really do think you will too once you have listened to the video. Go Heels!

More than our share of tough games, but with the exception of LSU, which we really didn't schedule, the home OOC games are not very appealing. I understand that with the typical roster turnover these days, it's difficult to use the final NET rankings from the previous season to evaluate teams for the upcoming season, but here are the final NET rankings from last year:

LSU 5
Army 125
Brown 139
Norfolk St 206
Elon 220
Winthrop 305
NCCU 317
UNCW 327
G-W 328

Other than LSU and NCCU, which I assume will be the annual kids field trip game, I see a LOT of empty seats.

NCCU is Veterans Day— schools are out.

Thought I’d be more pumped to see the non-conf schedule posted but… somewhat disappointed. Why can’t we ever get any home & homes scheduled with any power 4 teams? Tennessee, Maryland? The accounts today just posted notable matchups and it’s the 5 major conf teams we are playing. With the exception of SC, LSU and OU, Texas Tech and Alabama probably won’t be that good this year. So realistically, we scheduled heavy with 14 OOC games and 11 of them most likely should win. That’s great but I thought CB always talked about scheduling hard? Again, LSU and SC will be resume boosters but those are the only really big games we have. And considering we have 14 non conference games, I would’ve liked to think we’d have more than 5 power 4 teams on. Nine games vs mid majors, especially 2 Ivy League is a bit silly. Mind you not even Princeton being one of them. Idk who actually did the scheduling this year but probably one of the worst since CB has been here.

MBB plays 12/6 as well… likely will be a DH that could draw a good crowd if promoted.
When is the last time our sports info department did an adequate job promoting something like that? At best, it typically just gets a mention in an email blast.
