Interestingly, the FH match start time on Friday was pushed back an hour, due to the late arrival of a ref. I haven't checked specifically on FH, but in most college sports (excluding football), the refs are required to be at the field/arena/whatever you call it, 1 hour before the match. The one hour requirement is, in part, to eliminate delays. But it's impossible to completely eliminate such issues, when accidents, car troubles, health issues, road work/closures, etc. aren't always predictable.
