Hope since it’s against Oregon it won’t be the dreaded noon start.

well it better not be at noon and why waste a homecoming on a game that will sellout anyhow..

of course by having 4 home games before September and then moving Iowa to Friday there was no other choice
Bac, has the Iowa game been moved to Friday officially? Rutgers website still lists it as a Saturday. I work until midnight and will already miss the opener vs Ohio. Add Iowa to a missed game and then the cupcake games against Norfolk and Miami where at least one will be a Noon game which means no sleep. Why the heck did I even get season tickets???!!!

I don’t mind noon starts. I don’t think this one will be at noon but who knows? Depends on how the season is unfolding at that point and the other games the networks want to feature that week.

I know it has only been one season, but have there been many football or mens basketball starts for the West Coast schools starting at Noon Eastern time?

Pretty much expected Oregon to be Homecoming because we start the season with 4 straight home games. It was either gonna be Oregon or Maryland on 11/08.

I don't think Rutgers and most of the Big Ten has a say in what game will their Homecoming Game.
Yes they do, it's why every B1G team picks us to be their homecoming. What they have no say in is, in conference schedule, times and dates.

Every team?? Last year we played one road game as the opponent on Homecoming. At Nebraska. Meanwhile Nebraska was a Homecoming opponent to 4 Big Ten teams.
Only two Big Ten teams last year did not play a Big Ten team for Homecoming. Illinois and Michigan.
