Canes are just a tough matchup. The winner of the Pens-Flyers was going to get smoked by the Canes. Hopefully we get a Canes-Avs SCF. Want to see the best but I'd settle for Pegula winning a Cup as well.
I have seen Bobby Hull against Bobby Clarke, the Rangers in game 7, Bruins, Montreal at the Forum, Red Wings and more - that was the 'dirtiest' game ever. Carolina does not deserve to win and advance with no interference calls against them. Just really bad!
Long time Flyers fan and Carolina got away with some interference but this is the playoffs and Carolina is simply the better team.

if you think that was even in top 10 of dirtiest games in this year’s playoff alone, you clearly don’t watch hockey other than Flyers. There have been some absolutely nasty and dirty games in the playoffs this year. Last night not even in top 10.And just FYI, I was a Flyers fan growing up and until 97. Was living in NC when Whalers became the Canes. Canes became my team. Was an original season tix holder for them. Saw Roddy raise the Cup in person in 2006, etc. Flyers are my number 2, but I am a diehard Caniac.
I guess Brind Amore is still angry with the Flyers because of the antics of Lindross.

The Flyers started off the playoffs looking great, but after that they became very pedestrian. I would suggest that they only looked better than their opponent in three of the 10 postseason games they played in. Oddly enough, those were the same three games in which Martone was fairly productive.
They got hot after the Olympic break but didn’t have enough talent to keep up with the best in the conference. They are really young. It’s easy to assume they are on an upward trajectory from here. But, it’s also easy to follow up this season with a lesser effort that sees them out of the playoffs next year. It’s not easy making the NHL playoffs anymore. But in the end, I was just thankful to watch Flyers playoff games again.

Philly had a nice season. It's always a disappointing end unless you win the Cup but definitely something for the to build on.

What the hell are you talking about. My current comment was acknowledging that bad calls are part of the game and crediting Carolina for being the better team. My comment about Crosby pointed out that he is the consummate whiner and his embellishment on the face off circle was the most pathetic thing I have seen watching hockey for decades. I also read countless articles about the Penguins bitching about the Flyers allegedly gooning it up after one of their losses. I must have missed your comment about the Flyers being better than the Penguins. Can you direct me to it?
Stating Crosby embellishes (most stars do) would have been fine but the insane comment was "his embellishment on the face off circle was the most pathetic thing I have seen watching hockey for decades". This screams bias or someone that hasn't watched much hockey over the "decades"

The Canes are a freaking machine.
Couldn't be prouder of this team. hugely important experience for the young guys. Tock is also massive to this team.
