PSU got some help from MD's pitching in the 4th inning, in game 1. They were trailing 4-2, and loaded up the bases with no outs. MD then walked in a run, 3-4. Then MD hit a batter to force in a run, 4-4. Then MD walked in a run, 5-4. Then with 1 out, PSU hit a sac fly to left field, 6-4. So PSU scored 4 runs without getting a hit.

so much for their 7 pm game:

Edit: the tweet got deleted. Basically, it was a tweet indicating that the 7 pm game was being moved to 10 pm, due to lightning storms in the forecast. But see the below post for additional updates
