Quick double leg by Carr, takes a 3-0 lead. Mesenbrink can't break the grip to escape. Riding time over 1 minute. Finally gets out after 1:42 riding time. 3-1. Counter shot by Carr defended this time. Still neutral as period 1 ends.

Period 2
Carr chooses bottom. Escapes in 20 seconds. 4-1. Quick stall on Carr. Meenbrink pushing the pace. Shot by Mesenbrink in deep, good fight by Carr and stalemate called. Another stall on Carr as he gets a takedown....weird. 7-2 Carr. Escape late by Mesenbrink. 7-3 as period ends with 1:57 riding time.

Period 3
Mesenbrink takes down. Stall and escape. 7-5. Double leg for Mesenbrink. Gets the takedown! 8-7. Escape makes it 8-8. That's how it ends. Looks like Mesenbrink thought it was going to OT. Carr wins 9-8 after riding time point.
