Agree. It would be deserved but those two injury default losses will be held against him.

Clinched the team title before the end of Session #4. Dang.
Quick, someone check if Griffith is still alive. He's not moving very much.
Carter tired - he burnt a lot of calories trying to move Griffith's dead weight.
174 Championship Semifinal:
#9 seed Carter Starocci vs. #4 seed Shane Griffith (Michigan) -- I'll use SG

CStar reaches, nothing. He reaches again, nothing. OOB with 2:11 left. Interlocking hands stoppage with 1:55 left. CStar gets a single on the edge, went for a cradle, now working for a TD, SG is doing a split, and the edge doesn't help. CStar pulls him in and has him dancing, but can't trip him down. CStar keeps working but SG has a split, and they are OOB with 36 sec left. So close. CStar shoots and gets a low single on the edge as a stall warning on SG, and OOB with 1 sec left. End

SG takes bottom. SG on his base but not going anywhere. Then he slowly works up to a 4-pt stance, and to his feet but returned and flattened. RT goes over 1 min. SG works up and back down. CStar working him hard but SG isn't doing a thing except avoiding being turned. SG to his feet band they go OOB with 6 sec left. SG Jumps to his feet, leans back, but the period ends. A rideout. RT @ 2:00 for CStar

CStar takes bottom. He works up slowly to his feet, and then is out in 12 sec, 1-0. RT is 1:48 for CStar. CStar shoots, blocked. 1 min left. CStar not looking for a shot. SG shoots, CStar sprawls, nothing. RT is locked. CStar backs off the edge with 14 sec and gets a stall warning. CStar shoots and is in on a single, SG sprawls. End. WIth the RT, it's a 2-0 DEC

Ya know, it really feels good to be a Nittany Lion fan right now. Not just for the winning, but, the type of kids we have, and how they help the opposing wrestler up off the mat after they went through HELL! LOL!
I so hope Kasak wins this. Unfortunately, if he wins, he'll face Ridge Lovett, the #1 seed who was upset in his semi, tomorrow.

It's not required to be an alum, OhioLion - just need to, as you do, appreciate the school and its representatives (athletes).
Yes. Our guys could all pack up and go home right now and still win the team title. That's how dominant they've been as a team over the past two days. Of course, I doubt they go anywhere.
