The 23 seed is dominating Nagao. I know when he transfered he had 3 years left but I am not sure he is the future at the weight for us. His neutral skills just are not there.
133: #10 seed Aaron Nagao vs. #23 seed Marlon Yarborough (UVA) -- I'll use MY for him

IMHO Nagao has looked just off all year. Not sure if its confidence or injury but just has looked flat all year to me.

Or his run last year was a perfect storm and he is not really on that level.
It would stand to reason whatever illness he was/is dealing with is either still impacting him or extremely impacted his conditioning, or both.
I thought he wrestled better at the Big Ten tournament taking 3rd. Thought he had turned the corner. Sometimes that isn’t match in a tournament after weighing in can be a problem.
He lost why not give the uva guy credit. He can battle back on consis.
As Greg stated, I think his illness wore him down a bit. Hard to constantly coming back from a conditioning perspective.
Davis up 3-0 end of one but did not like how Lujan was trying to peel his hands off. Might have dug his nails in.

We better bonus in these first rounds and second rounds to get the ball rolling. So far after two matches that hasn’t happened .
