I will start by saying Brian calling the offense always makes us nervous, but he definitely has some weapons now. I like the upgrade at QB, the addition of Erik All, Brown, and Anderson. If the 2 offensive lineman can give a positive contribution than that should help certainly. I am really excited with Hayden Large at fullback. Imagine a 6'4'' fullback/TE that blocks like a freight train and can catch out of the backfield. Things should really open up for Cade to spread things out and keep the chains moving. Also, with all these other upgrades it really will open up things for our talented RBs to make some hay when opposing defenses aren't able to stack the box. Any thoughts people?

yea... I actually think Brian is a great play caller.
if our O-Line is much improved.. I think this offense will be dynamite.
you gotta figure the O-Line was very young last year... even the year before, aside from Linderbaum.
but with the addition of Feth I think they could be a strength this coming season.

and if the O-Line is a strength.. we're gonna have great options running and throwing the football.
we got at least 2 really good running backs... 2 really good tight ends..
and the addition of Brown alongside Ragaini ... we got a solid offense.

then factor in Seth Anderson.. Diante Vines.. and Wetjens.. who is said that he is the fastest cat on the team.

and maybe Jacob Bostick surprises... there is a lot of things to be excited for this upcoming season.

the biggest concern might be the defense.

Defense under Phil is and never should be a concern! He was ranked the number 1 defensive coordinator in all of college football for a reason. They had the #2 overall ranked defense in 2022. They are returning the # 3 ranked defensive back unit in the NCAA, They are deep at the line. They won't skip a beat at linebacker with the Virginia transfer and they have a strength at safety and cash. Defense is not an issue sir LOL.

I do agree with you that the O-Line will be greatly improved (still a work in progress) though. With growth, development, and game play they can only get better.

As for Brian as a play caller... He leaves a lot to be desired. I think he had a very limited playbook based on personal the past few years and the additions on offense will allow him to be more aggressive. I hope the proof is in the pudding though. He is out of excuses at this point and his back is against the wall. Time for him to put up or shut up.

yea.. the defense is typically very strong... but I feel they still have to prove themselves..
in particular... late in games

but ... having said that.. I'm fully confident they will be extra good.
