I'm shocked at how bad we are on D. Rhodes vcu teams were strong on D. I didn't get to see the Bucknell game, but heard we gave up 1.54 pts per possession in the 2nd half. That's ungody bad against a 2-7 low midmajor. D needs to figure it out fast and rebounding needs to be emphasized EVERY DAY.

Tonight’s the first time I’ve bet on us this season…expecting to see a much better defensive performance.
Hard to win when you’re outrebounded 53-31 and give up 23 offensive rebounds.

So true. Next to impossible and yet somehow they took it to overtime. That's incredible.
Ohio State will be one of the better teams in the conference but yeah they’re just not playing well.
Wahab only has one move when he gets the ball and is bad with pick and roll defense. o Boyle seems to be the only guy that can shoot, but he’s definitely a detriment on defense. Plus, we’re taking the ball to the basket and trying to finish a lot of shots with our offhand and not generating any contact to get to the free throw line.
The zone did well for a couple possessions. They may need to use it more.

Left the house with PSU down 18 pts as I play in a local bridge group the second Sat night of every month.
Four couples at each of four residences.
Coincidentally a couple hours later my partner had the bid so I was (appropriately) the dummy so I asked Siri the final score and was stunned to hear PSU 83-80.
The husband of the couple at our table was as stunned as I was…..he’s a monster Ohio St fan!

Curious to see if this team can build on that big comeback win against the buckeyes. I'm not really sure what to expect at this point, maybe more dramatic ups and downs until they figure themselves out.
One possession in, and I’m already impressed, I believe for the first time this year Q went left. Missed the shot but I’ll take it.
