A Covid year gives him 1. It appears that his not playing in 2022 was due to an injury, so he appears to either be a candidate for a medical redshirt or has already been granted that.
How does the NCAA know whether a player not playing is due to an injury or for some other reason?
Reported by the school. If indicated that the player had a season-ending injury, NCAA may request supporting medical documentation.
Rumor has it this dude's switching sports, bulking up, and competing for a linebacker spot.
